9. Create Feature List
Navigate to the Feature List catalog from the Experiment section of the menu.
Step 1: Explore Existing Feature Lists¶
Review the Feature Lists in the Catalog that match your use case.
Examine the contents of a selected Feature List.
Assess any missing themes in the list.
Step 2: Jumpstart a New Feature List¶
Use the "+" button to add features from a feature list to the Feature List Builder.
Step 3: Enhance Feature List¶
In the "Suggestions" section, click on the number indicating missing themes to explore features with addditional signal.
For each recommended theme (e.g., Primary Entity: Customer, Primary Table: GROCERYINVOICE, Signal Type: Frequency), click "Show Features."
Add desired features (e.g., "CUSTOMER_Count_of_invoice_1w") to your Feature List Builder using the "+" button.
Reset filters to view all features suitable for your use case and continue adding as needed.
Click "+" to add "CUSTOMER_Std_of_invoice_Amount_13w" to the Feature List Builder.
For additional themes, like Signal Type: Similarity, follow the same process of exploring and adding features.
Click "Show Features" for the following theme:
- Primary Entity: Customer
- Primary Table: INVOICEITEMS
- Signal Type: Similarity
Get "CUSTOMER_vs_OVERALL_item_TotalCost_across_product_ProductGroups_13w" details and request a preview.
Click "+" to add "CUSTOMER_vs_OVERALL_item_TotalCost_across_product_ProductGroups_13w" to the Feature List Builder.
Use filters to refine feature exploration based on criteria like Primary Entity, Primary Table, and Signal Type. Here:
- Primary Entity: Customer
- Primary Table: GROCERYINVOICE
- Signal Type: Timing
Check "CUSTOMER_invoice_Amount_across_invoice_Hours_13w" preview.
Click "+" to add "CUSTOMER_invoice_Amount_across_invoice_Hours_13w" to the Feature List Builder.
Step 4: Save Feature List¶
Click "Review Feature List" in the Feature List Builder. Examine the contents of the list and remove any unnecessary features.
Click "Save List" to store your custom Feature List, which will now be available in the Feature List Catalog.
